Honey Thyme Carrots

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Carrots local and organic
  • 1 cup Water filtered
  • 2 T Grass-fed Butter
  • 1 T Honey local if you can find it
  • 1/4 tsp Sea Salt
  • 3 sprigs Thyme

Instructions

  1. Rinse and peel the carrots

  2. Cut carrots into 1 or 1 1/2 inch chunks

  3. Add carrots, water, butter, honey and sea salt to pan

  4. Simmer carrots on medium heat until the water is gone or about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally

  5. Carrots should be fork tender at this point and braising in the butter

  6. Transfer carrots to a serving bowl and sprinkle thyme leaves all over
