Let’s face it, the turkey is just the center piece on the Thanksgiving table. People are most excited about the sides!! I’ve used this recipe for cream corn for almost 20 years now (I can’t even believe that’s true but it is!) and it’s always a crowd favorite. I’ve taken it to work pot lucks, friend’s homes and I serve it every year at Thanksgiving! This is a recipe that was shared with me by a family friend and I will cherish it forever. I think of her every time I make this dish.
These days I am dairy free but I will share the original and updated recipes with you.
This dish is so simple. You throw all the ingredients in a slow cooker, cook on low for 4 hours, stirring occasionally. When you are busy making the turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole and pumpkin pie you will thank me for this no frills, low maintenance amazing dish that everyone will love!!

This looks so yummy! I love that it is made in a slow cooker so it frees up the stovetop. Definitely going to be a recipe I try for this Thanksgiving!
I hope you love it! Happy Turkey Day!
