I’m one week into the Whole30 program. The first week is always the hardest. Actually it’s just the first few days that are difficult. I usually get a few headaches but this time I didn’t get those headaches. I didn’t even start getting cravings until Day 4. Thank goodness for cashew cookie Larabars. The one thing I miss the most is chocolate. Thankfully I have my morning chocolate smoothie to help with those chocolate cravings. I drink this smoothie even when I’m not doing Whole30. Almost every morning I walk into the office carrying my Eskimo Joe’s cup full of this smoothie.
This chocolate smoothie is not only Whole30 compliant but I would call it a super food smoothie. It has cacao nibs, goji berries and hemp seeds all of which are considered super foods!
